About

Introducing Elias Wick - Noise, a fantastic compilation of more than 90 seamless noise textures, volume textures, materials, and material functions, designed to cater to all your noise-related needs within Unreal Engine.

With this collection you will have everything you need to create volumetric clouds, fog, ray marchers, procedural texturing, particle effects, landscapes, and so much more. I strongly recommend watching the showcase video to truly grasp how incredibly powerful and versatile this collection of textures and materials are.

The textures in this library are categorized into two groups: ordinary textures and volume textures.

Ordinary textures offer 50 unique and seamless options, versatile for tasks like procedural terrain generation, texture details, particle effects, animation offsets and randomization. The included noise textures eliminate the need to use real-time noise calculations, increasing your performance. With an extensive array of diverse patterns and variations, you will never have to worry about finding a noise texture again.

Volume textures encompass a diverse array of 40 unique textures, capable of generating seamless 3D volumes. These textures are ideally suited for creating volumetric clouds, volumetric fog, procedural texturing, particle effects and randomization. Volume textures are a more cost-effective alternative to generating noise and produce very similar results.

With the noise post-process material, you gain the ability to render captivating noise directly onto your screen. You have the option to select one of the included textures as your foundation or utilize a noise algorithm to generate the desired noise effect. This tool is ideal for enhancing the natural appeal of your project, giving it an authentic, unaltered appearance, as if the footage has remained untouched and unedited, adding a touch of realism to your visuals.

The five included material functions grant you the ability to create personalized procedural noise through easy manipulation of the node inputs. By adjusting the seed values and modifying the noise position, you can create versatile noise suitable for a multitude of applications.

Save yourself the trouble of searching for noise textures ever again, with Elias Wick - Noise!
